Dr McCready is a Specialist Anaesthetist working in both private and public practice in South East Queensland.
Anne graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical School, UK with honours (MBChB(Hons)). She has also undertaken study in law (LLB (Hons)) and a master’s in public administration (MPA).
Having emigrated to Australia, Anne undertook her specialist training in anaesthesia in South East Queensland and in Sydney (Royal Prince Alfred Hospital training scheme).
Anne was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) in 2018 and as an Associate Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (AFRACMA) in 2022.
Anne joined Axxon Health in 2022 and provides anaesthetic services for a wide range of specialties but has a special interest in anaesthesia for Spine Surgery; Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery and Ophthalmological Surgery. In addition to her clinical work, Anne is involved in several committee and advisory positions relating to medication management and health policy.
