Dr Benjamin Lincoln was born and raised in South East Queensland. He completed a science degree in genetics and his medical degree at the University of Queensland prior to commencing specialist training to become an anaesthetist. He has spent several years working at various hospitals from Cairns to the Gold Coast. His training has included all sub-specialities of anaesthesia (e.g. paediatric, cardiac, neuro-anaesthesia, pain management), and intensive care resuscitation. As a fellow of the college of anaesthesia he continues to stay abreast of new developments in anaesthesia and regularly attends educational meetings and conferences. Following the completion of his specialist training, Dr Lincoln moved to Bundaberg in 2013 prior to returning to Brisbane with his family in 2018.
Dr Lincoln is a fellow of the Australia & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) and a member of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists (ASA). Dr Lincoln currently works at several hospitals in Brisbane, Hervey Bay and Bundaberg. He provides a broad range of anaesthesia at these hospitals, including but not limited to orthopaedic surgery including joint and spine surgery; paediatric surgery; otolaryngology (ear nose throat); ophthalmic surgery; gynaecological surgery; vascular surgery and general surgery. He also has an interest in overseas aid and humanitarian work.
Dr Lincoln aims to provide a professional, knowledgeable and calming anaesthetic experience for his patients. Dr Lincoln places a lot of emphasis on making his patients anaesthetic experience as comfortable as possible.
