Dr Ian Webb is a Specialist Anaesthetist working publicly and privately in southeast Queensland.
Dr Webb graduated with a medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1984.
Dr Webb was awarded fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 1993. He was awarded a fellowship of the Faculty of Intensive Care in 1996 and a fellow of the Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine in 2002.
Dr Webb has worked as an anaesthetic staff specialist at The Royal Childrens’ Hospital in Melbourne, a staff specialist Department’s Anaesthetics and Paediatric Intensive Care at The Royal Children’s Hospital Brisbane, Director of Anaesthetics at The Royal Childrens’ Hospital Brisbane, Senior Staff Specialist at The Royal Children’s Hospital Brisbane and is currently Senior Staff Specialist Paediatric Intensive Care The Royal Children’s Hospital Brisbane.
Dr Webb has supervised and taught intensive care registrars and anaesthetic trainees at The Royal Childrens’ Hospital. Dr Webb has lectured in the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists primary long course. Dr Webb has also been a trial examiner for the pre-examination revision course for the Faculty of Intensive Care Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists 1998-2000.
